As a native of the Tri-State Area, I have built a career as an inspector and engineer. I am a dedicated professional who has developed many relationships. I’m always looking to expand my knowledge through my experiences and continuing education in both home inspections and engineering. My philosophy is to treat people right and make sure they are getting my best effort. A home is the biggest purchase you’ll ever make, so it’s important to understand the condition of your investment. Many home inspectors charge extra for termite inspections and septic system dye testing but I do not. These items are very important and should be included in a home inspection, not as extra services.

I do not charge any fee if I need to return to the property. Sometimes an inspection is needed immediately but the home has the power or gas disconnected. I can do the inspection and come back when the utility company activates the utilities. I also will return to a home with one of the qualified contractors to review defects and provide recommendations and cost estimates.

I adhere to the NYS and InterNACHI Residential Standards of Practice. This means that I’ll inspect the visible and accessible structure, systems and components of the home, inside and out, from the foundation to the roof, using the latest tools and technology.

Following my evaluation, I’ll compile my findings in an easy-to-read report, which will include detailed descriptions, high-resolution digital photos and even videos of any issues I’ve discovered. I’ll email you your report and provide a hard copy and other materials within a well organized binder, and my job isn’t finished until you understand everything in it.

I will review the report with you and your real estate agent and coordinate with my network of qualified contractors to review defects and provide recommendations and cost estimates.

A lot of real estate agents like when I write them a detailed list of recommended repairs and the order of which I would prioritize them based on safety, cost, etc. They can then forward the list to the home selling agent to review and negotiate with.
